Concern for war victims across the globe motivated RMS elementary classrooms to host a read-a-thon in which students read to raise money for the Red Cross rescue efforts in Ukraine.
Plans for the event included playground fun, pizza and a lot of good books. Sponsors helped the students raise more than $1,000 during the event with the hope they would help those suffering during the war.
The Green Meadow and Rainforest Canopy students dive into their books after spending time outdoors with their classmates.
