Much of the work done at the upper elementary level is collaborative and project-based in nature. The children are capable of in-depth studies and large group activities.
This spring, our upper elementary students prepared for their National History Day Fair by choosing historical topics of interest to research. They spent many hours creating display boards, artifacts and 5 paragraph essays to share their newly acquired knowledge with others. Before they left for spring break, parents and staff were invited to a spectacular presentation of the students' work down in their Green Meadow classroom.
