Racine Montessori School's major annual fundraiser, the Lakefront Artist Fair (LAF), is held the first Saturday in May.  2010 will mark LAF's 29th year!!  Running simultaneously with the Racine Kiwanis Pancake Day at Festival Park, it is an unofficial start to Racine's summertime festival season.

Over 125 Artisans from all over the midwest showcase their talents including:

• Jewelry
• Paintings
• Pottery
• Metal art
• Clothing
• And much, much more!

In addition to a wonderful variety of original art, there are many other reasons to visit the Lakefront Artist Fair:

• Gift Basket Silent Auction
• Artist's Silent Auction (many presenting artists donate an item)
• $5 Prize Board
• $1/ticket Raffle Drawing
• Children's Activity Booth, where, for a nominal fee, kids can make their own arts and crafts projects.

Bring your family and friends and come join the fun!

Note to RMS families: we rely on each family to volunteer a minimum four (4) hours of their time in order to make the LAF the success it has become.  Sign-ups begin in April for the many activities that support the event: park set-up (the day before); artist shuttling; artist unloading; concessions; ticket sales; artist support; children's booth activities, etc.
