Why Do We Fundraise at RMS?
RMS relies on parent volunteerism as well as our collective fundraising efforts, both to cover operating expenses and to keep tuition low...so your participation is important!
We make every effort to select fundraisers which mirror typical purchases we make in our everyday lives and which, to the extent possible, are in keeping with the Montessori tradition and philosophy.
Please contact the school office if you have any questions.
Ongoing Opportunities to Help the School
-
Growing Power Market Basket -- purchase a basket of fresh fruits & vegetables each week, grown locally when in season. Three options are available: Junior ($12), Regular ($20) or Organic ($30)

-
SCRIP -- Purchase gift cards for everyday expenses like good, gas, clothing, entertainment and travel or as gifts for special occasions. Discount percentages differ by retailer and are split between you (in the form of a tuition credit two times per year) and the school (as fundraising income). You can submit an order online at any time. Orders are due, with payment, by Monday at 9 a.m. in the office. Your order then arrives that Friday. You may pick it up in the office or have it delivered in your child's backpack. Invite your family, neighbors and friends to participate!
- Market Day -- Order online from a huge variety of frozen foods from breakfast items to dessert. Orders are submitted to Market Day once per month and pickup is on a pre-set date and time thereafter in the pole barn. RMS receives 10% of the sales. The meals are great for busy families looking for nutritious alternatives to fast food.
- Pick-N-Save -- Register your Advantage Plus Card under RMS in the We Care Program and the school receives a percentage of your purchases throughout the year.
- Target -- Designate RMS as your Target Red Card's Take Charge of Education beneficiary and the school receives a percentage of your purchases throughout the year.
- Box Tops For Education -- Collect all your BT4E clippings from your cereals boxes, Pillsbury®, Yoplait®, Betty Crocker®, Nature Valley®, Betty Crocker®, Ziploc®, Huggies®, Cottonelle®, Kleenex®, Scott®, Kotex®, Hefty® and many other products. Each box top is worth 10¢ to our school. Ask family and neighbors to help.
- Campbell's Soup Labels for Education -- Collect proofs of purchase from all your Campbell's® soups, Prego® pasta sauces, Swanson® broths, Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish and V8® products, most worth 5 points each. 20,000 points earns RMS free merchandise. Collect from family, friends and neighbors.
We love the environment!
